How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in mediation many years ago as a result of community violence that ended taking the lives of many youths. A community dispute resolution center had a mediation program in which I attended and received training.
Do you only provide services to Muslim communities?
No. I provide services to anyone in need; conflict is everywhere.
What type of clients do you work with?
I work with individuals, small businesses, attorneys, and Masjid looking for specialized services for underserved communities.

I am NOT an attorney and I do not provide legal advice.
What advice would you give to a client looking to hire a mediator?
Well, I would advise the client to look for the mediator's commitment to service. The provider should always be available by returning phone calls and emails. The provider should be skilled. The provider should be resourceful in finding answers when they don't know all the answers.
What should clients think about before talking to a mediator?
Clients should always think about desired outcomes, cost, and emotional involvement if they are not proactive in resolving a conflict or dispute.
Is your service confidential?
Yes. Our services are confidential. Our client's privacy is paramount to our business. Case information is confidential except allegations of abuse and threats of harm to self and/or others.
How does Online Divorce Mediation Work?
Online divorce mediation work via an internet connection. Each party will receive an emailed link to log into the mediation conference. Each online conference is conducted on a secure platform. The conference is locked once all parties have arrived.

What happens if an agreement is broken by the other party.
Some agreements have a provision to re-mediate an issue if the other party is not in compliance. We find that small business clients prefer to re-mediate.
However, if a party has broken any part of the divorce agreement, it is best to consult with an attorney for advice.
Do I need a Lawyer to mediate
In most cases, a lawyer is not needed in mediation. However, we encourage clients to seek legal advice from a licensed attorney if you have a legal question.
What if no agreement is reached?
Sometimes an agreement is not reached. Clients may be asked to take a couple of days to cool down and revisit mediation.
